Sberbank says IFRS net profit drops 78% to 270.5 bln rbl in 2022

MOSCOW, Mar 29 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s top bank Sberbank plummeted by 78% on the year to 270.5 billion rubles in 2022, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said in a statement on Thursday.

Retail loans grew by 12.2% to 12.43 trillion rubles as of December 31, 2022, and corporate loans by 11.4% to 18.6 trillion rubles.

Retail deposits increased by 5.9% to 18.5 trillion rubles, and corporate deposits rose by 14.6% to 11.4 trillion rubles.
